It's super rare for me to call a Balearic record 'amazing,' but this one truly earns that title. Carly Simon's 'Why' is an all - around winner. The backing beat, produced by Nile Rodgers/Chic, has just the right balance of funk to keep the rhythm flowing, while the synth hook adds a catchy and sentimental touch. Carly's vocals are filled with lovely longing. Original copies are scarce and highly sought - after, so grab this great import repress while you can.
