Description

The 1998 smash hit 'You've Come A Long Way, Baby' by Fatboy Slim is a landmark big beat album that propelled the genre into the mainstream. This is the 20th anniversary pressing of the 11-track album. Iconic tracks like 'The Rockafeller Skank', 'Right Here, Right Now', and 'Praise You' are definite highlights. Norman Cook's unique blend of crunchy drum breaks and catchy hooks keeps the energy up throughout the LP, with 'Love Island' and the fun 'In Heaven' also worth a listen. Features include a high-quality half-speed remaster cut at Abbey Road Studios, an 180g black double vinyl pressing, a gatefold sleeve, a 6-page booklet. Originally released in 1998, this version is from Astralwerks in 2023. Reviewed by rei kwondo in 03/2018.

To enjoy this Fatboy Slim vinyl, simply place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the start of the track, and let the music play. Make sure your turntable is properly set up and calibrated for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the playing surface. After each use, carefully place it back in its sleeve to protect it. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it upright to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris. This will help maintain the sound quality over time.
