Description

The fifth studio album from Toronto's Junior Boys. It's amazing that Jeremy Greenspan and Matt Didemus have been making music for over a decade. When they released their debut 'Last Exit' in 2004, their music was unique. It wasn't quite pop, too melodic for minimal, and too refined for the indie - electronic scene then. But they persevered, and the synth - pop world caught up. Greenspan co - produced Jessy Lanza's debut and released singles on Dan Snaith's Jiaolong imprint, while Didemus kept a lower profile. As Junior Boys, their music is distinct. Greenspan's voice floats over the synthetic backdrop, with a mix of husky, delicate tones and sometimes falsetto. 'Big Black Coat' will surely delight fans with its consistent style. It includes tracks like 'Big Black Coat', 'Over It', 'And It's Forever' and a cover of Bobby Caldwell's 'What You Won't Do For Love', with 11 tracks in total. Released by City Slang on 180 - gram vinyl. Features: 180 - gram pressing, music label: City Slang 2016. Reviewed by Michu Meszaros in 02/2016.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your turntable and let the music play. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt on it. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If you notice any dust on the record, use a soft, anti - static brush to gently clean it before playing. Enjoy the unique synth - pop music of Junior Boys!
