As Les Sins, he dabbled in disco - fied house. Now, with Star Stuff, a record made with Jonathan and Jared Mattson, he shows his musical range. At first, Bundick was mainly the producer, but the trio's chemistry made him step in for vocals and instruments. The result is a fresh blend of psych and jazz fusion. Tracks like 'Cascade' recall Bob James, 'Don't Blame Yourself' has a Pat Metheny - like jazz guitar, and 'Disco Kid' evokes Broadcast. Star Stuff is mostly instrumental, but Bundick's vocals on the title track are great for Toro Y Moi fans.
