Dave Harrington Group: Become Alive (Darkside) Vinyl LP

This is the solo full - length debut of Darkside member Dave Harrington. 'Become Alive' features layers of improvised material further refined by Harrington in the studio. Inspired by late 60s and early 70s jazz albums, where the studio was an instrument, Harrington took an experimental approach. He mixes electronics with pure jazz improv, creating deep and cosmic instrumentals. Co - produced by his Darkside bandmate Nicolas Jaar, the album has eight tracks. It's released on black vinyl by Nicolas Jaar's Other People in 2016. Reviewed by the sherm hole in 05/2016.
