I first heard '3 Feet' at Charlie's backyard ramp in grade school. Back then, skaters listened to thrash/punk and some older - brother rock. This was the first hip - hop album we played loudly at the ramp. When the video came out, the guys looked like they were from another planet, and everyone started wearing goofy purple sweatshirts.
