Description

When the Minnesota five - piece Hippo Campus reached a crossroads after their 2016 breakthrough album Landmark, producer BJ Burton (Low, Bon Iver) posed a crucial question: "Do you want to make another Hippo Campus record or do you want to make a record under the name Hippo Campus?" The band chose the latter, moving away from debut - related tropes and embracing more synthesizers, horns, and icy drum machine rhythms. Frontman Jake Luppen still brings to mind Paddy McAloon from Prefab Sprout, which is a great plus. Standout tracks include "Golden," "Honestly," "Why Even Try," and the title track. This indie exclusive edition comes with a free tote bag. It's pressed on pink 'blossom' colored vinyl and has a printed inner sleeve. It's a limited - edition release from music label Grand Jury in 2018.

Using your Hippo Campus: Bambi vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your record player, gently drop the needle on the grooves, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oils on the record, which could affect the sound quality. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. Keep the tote bag dry and away from sharp objects to avoid tears. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. For the tote bag, you can spot - clean it with a mild detergent if needed.
