Description

The sixth studio album from San Antonio's Butthole Surfers, Independent Worm Saloon, originally came out in 1993 and marked the band's debut on Capitol Records. After their previous label, Rough Trade, folded, major labels were eager to find the next Nirvana, and the band signed with Capitol. Capitol paired them with Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones as the producer. Thanks to Jones' influence, the album is a bit more straightforward than their earlier works. It scored their first minor radio hit, 'Who Was in My Room Last Night'. It has a touch of Gibby Haynes' collaboration with Ministry, 'Jesus Built My Hot Rod', but also has its own unique charm. The album includes tracks like 'The Annoying Song', 'The Ballad of Naked Man', 'Alcohol', and 'Strawberry', with a total of seventeen songs. It's released on 180 - gram, translucent blue vinyl by Plain Recordings in 2018. Key features: - Translucent blue colored vinyl - 180 - gram pressing - Music label: Plain Recordings 2018 Reviewed by Green Jello in 08/2015.

To play this vinyl LP, you'll need a record player. First, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the 180 - gram translucent blue vinyl on the turntable. Set the tonearm carefully on the edge of the record. Then, just sit back and enjoy the unique sounds of Butthole Surfers' Independent Worm Saloon. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm gently and turn off the record player. To keep your vinyl in great shape, always handle it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record sleeve. And if it gets dirty, use a proper vinyl cleaning brush to clean it gently.
