Red, yellow, and blue combine to make brown. UK-based musician and artist Duval Timothy presents the lovely solo piano sounds of Brown Loop. He takes a conceptual approach, inspired by hip - hop sampling and looping. Playing with simple repeating phrases and gradually building them into beautiful compositions, Duval's like'sampling' himself on an acoustic piano. It offers a wonderful listening experience. The sound samples don't do it justice; you must hear the whole tracks to appreciate the brilliant progressions. This is truly something special. Highlights are 'Badman', 'Blue Borough', 'Hairs', 'Pleats', 'Smoke Alarm', and 'Passing'. Don't be surprised if you hear it sampled in your favorite rapper's beats. Recommended.
