Description

When it comes to music production, Madlib is a true pioneer. His hunger for musical exploration is unmatched. Jackson Conti, his latest project, teams him up with Mamao Conti, the drummer of the legendary Brazilian group Azymuth. The result is a full - length Latin jazz album that's as authentic as it gets. Mamao and Madlib connected during a visit to Brazil. Mamao laid down an hour and a half of drums, and after Madlib's magic touch, the songs took shape. This 13 - track album is beautifully pressed on double black vinyl. The music is like bottled sunshine, giving you a vacation feeling. Tracks like 'Berumba' show Madlib's signature swing, 'Papaya' has breezy jazz sounds, 'Brasilian Sugar' offers warm vibes, 'Upa Neguinho' features insane drum patterns and piano, 'Casa Forte' has samba rhythms, and Mamao sings on 'Segura Esta Onda'. Many tracks are re - interpreted covers of well - known artists. It's a 2008 collaboration, limited to 4500 copies, and released under the Madlib Invazion label in 2021. This is truly a future classic and highly recommended.

To enjoy this Jackson Conti vinyl album, simply place it on your record player, drop the needle gently, and let the music flow. Make sure your record player is in good working condition for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the playing surface. After each use, put the vinyl back in its sleeve to protect it from dust. Store the album in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This will help keep the vinyl in great shape for many years of listening pleasure.
