Set about 10 years before Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise, Star Trek: Discovery shows the Federation - Klingon war from the USS Discovery crew's view. Emmy - winning composer Jeff Russo, known for Fargo, Legion, and The Night Of, created an original score. His idea was to show that despite the fighting, we're all one. For the main title, he used a 64 - piece orchestra with elements from the original Star Trek theme. The rest of the score used 51 players, resulting in an epic soundtrack that truly captures the series. Feel the tension, mystery, and hope of exploring new worlds.
