His 1982 debut, Music For Nine Post Cards, is a masterpiece recorded on a simple setup of a keyboard and a Fender Rhodes. Through gentle melodies and repetition, the album offers a calm and captivating listening experience, a trademark of Yoshimura's work. Along with Satoshi Ashikawa, Yoshimura aimed to create a new relationship between sound and space.
